Late June is the rainy season. It is hot and humid, so it is a bit of a relief to see cool coloured flowers. The most beautiful blue flower at this time of year is the agapanthus. It is an evergreen bulbous plant with beautiful glossy sword-shaped leaves, even when not in flower.
六月の下旬は梅雨の季節です. むし暑いので、涼し気な色の花をみると少しホッとします. この時期に一番きれいに咲く青い花はアガパンサスです. 常緑の球根植物で、花が咲いていない時も、艶のある剣状の葉がとても綺麗です.
