Mexican sage flowers a little in early summer, but it flowers a lot in autumn when the days are getting shorter. In the garden I used to have it in the central flower bed, but I have made the central flower bed a little smaller, so now I grow it in a large pot. Just now the flower buds are opening and the beautiful velvety flowers are starting to bloom.
