In the potager, we harvested the potatoes (Andes Red). It was a decent harvest. We’ve set aside some seed potatoes for planting in the autumn, and are already enjoying the rest.
ポタジェではジャガイモ（アンデスレッド）の収穫をしました。まずまずの収穫です。秋に植えるための種芋を確保して、あとはさっそく美味しく食べています。
We’ve sown edamame seeds in the raised beds where the cabbages and potatoes used to be. We’ve put up a net frame to keep the birds away.
キャベツのあとと、ジャガイモのあとのレイズドベッドに枝豆の種をまきました。鳥よけのためにネットフレームを設置しました。
In the square raised bed, the flax seedheads have turned brown, so we harvested them. We will dry them to collect the seeds.
四角形のレイズドベッドでは亜麻の実が茶色くなってきたので、刈り取りました。干して乾かして種を採ります。
In the triangular raised beds, the baby watermelon seedlings have grown considerably, and as the first female flower has bloomed, we removed the male flower and carried out hand-pollination. We are looking forward to seeing the fruit grow large.
三角形のレイズドベッドでは小玉スイカの苗がだいぶ成長してきて、初めて雌花が咲いたので、雄花を取って人工授粉をしました。実が大きく育つのが楽しみです。
