We harvested vegetables; mizuna (left; Brassica rapa var. laciniifolia) and komatsuna (right; Brassica rapa var. perviridis) in the cold frames, and planted seedlings of leaf lettuce. Because mizuna began to go to seed, all of them were harvested.
Two pictures below were shot last week, and in a week they grew much larger.
After harvesting, seedlings of leaf lettuce were planted. Half of komatsuna were left and the seedlings were planted between them. Swiss chard is growing beside komatsuna.
In two pentagonal vegetable beds, asparagus and herbaceous flowers were planted together. We are looking forward to harvesting asparagus in April and looking at beautiful flowers in May.
Some of tulips have begun to bloom in the potager.
