We grow ’a daughter’ of Rosa 'Scarborough Fair' in a pot.
We found it just beside one of Scarborough Fair shrubs of the sleeper steps.

It was not a cutting. It seemed a seedling grown from a seed (rose hip).
We potted it in 2017 and repotted last winter.

It bears many pink cute flowers now.
Its flowers are exactly like those of Rosa 'Scarborough Fair',
however, its number of petals is more than 'Scarborough Fair'.
In addition, its branches are more slender and tend to droop.
So, we think that it is a daughter of 'Scarborough Fair'

Another beautiful accident! It's great to find 'new' plants in the garden that have seeded themselves.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, it's a gift from the Mother Nature.
