The borage is starting to bloom in two places in the garden. One is next to the concrete foundation of the house, growing from a spilled seed. The other is growing in a pot.
庭の2か所でボリジが咲き始めています。一つは家のコンクリートの基礎の横で、こぼれ種から育ったもの。もう一つは鉢で育ったものです。
The blue color of Borage is also called as "Madonna Blue" because it was used to paint the blue robe of the Virgin Mary.
ボリジのブルーは聖母マリアの青い衣を描く時に使われたことから「マドンナ・ブルー」とも呼ばれているそうです。
