This year, too, the Queen of the night has bloomed. The buds started to swell in the evening and the petals opened wide in about three hours. It really is a beautiful flower. It is also a very ephemeral flower, as it shrivels up the next morning.
今年も月下美人が咲きました. 夕方に蕾が膨らみ始めて、3時間ほどで大きく花びらが開きました. 本当に美しい花です. 翌朝にはしぼんでしまうので、とてもはかない花でもあります.

What a gorgeous flower and so easy to miss if you had not checked that night they opened! Such a shame if you had not looked in time
ReplyDeleteIt really is as you say. I usually keep it in the garden, so if I hadn't noticed it, I wouldn't have seen this beautiful flower!
