Today we had over 200mm of rain in one day. The potager is not directly visible from the house, so I went to see it in the rain. I found that the pathway was flooded with a few centimeters of muddy water.
It seems that the rain was so heavy that the drainage could not be completed in time. After clearing away the fallen leaves and other debris that had clogged the drainage holes, the drainage became more vigorous and the flooding decreased.
The flowerbeds did not drain well and were flooded with rainwater. Raised beds and the large pot in which a standard rose grows were not flooded.
I can't wait for the rain to stop!
今日は一日で200ミリを超える雨が降りました. ポタジェは家からは直接見えないので、雨の中、見に行きました. すると、園路が２，３センチほど泥水で冠水していました.
ものすごい雨で、排水が間に合わなかったようです. 排水口に詰まった落ち葉などを取り除くと、排水の勢いが良くなって、冠水は減りました.
花壇は水はけが悪くて雨水があふれていました. レイズドベッドやスタンダード仕立てのバラを植えこんだ大きな植木鉢には水はあふれずに済んでいました.
早く雨が上がってほしい！
