Water spinach is a leafy vegetable that grows well in midsummer. It is grown in raised beds in the potager. The water spinach with a fine netting frame has not been eaten by grasshoppers, but the one without any protection has been eaten by many grasshoppers. The grasshoppers seem to like this vegetable.
空心菜は真夏に元気に育つ葉物野菜です. ポタジェのレイズドベッドで育てています. 細かい目のネットのフレームをかけた空心菜はバッタに食べられることなく育っていますが、何も保護していないそれはずいぶんバッタに食べられています. バッタもこの野菜が好きなようです.
