Noble scallop is a beautifully colored bivalve that is edible.

The colour of the shell can be red, orange, yellow, or purple, and varies from individual to individual.
Because of its beautiful shape and color, I use it as a flower bed decoration in my garden.
The color fades when dry, but becomes brighter when wet with rain.
