The quince is a fruit tree that produces many lovely dark pink flowers around the time of cherry blossom. The contrast between the vibrant bright green of the leaves and the colour of the flowers is also very beautiful.

カリンは桜の咲くころに濃いピンクの可愛らしい花をたくさん咲かせる果樹です。葉の鮮やかな明るい緑色と花色のコントラストもとても綺麗です。
秋にはリンゴより大きな実をつけ、シロップ漬けにして冬の喉の薬としてもよく使われます。
山桜が散り始めて、いよいよカリンは満開になります。
