The apple trees in the Potager are beginning to flower. The first apple to flower is the Alpine Maiden. The Maypole, which is planted as a pollinator tree, blooms together. A little later, the Fuji apples start to flower.
The Alpine maiden is drawn to the reinforced arch at the entrance. The Alps Maiden and the Fuji are planted alternately in the espalier.
The flowers of the Alpine maiden are pink in bud, but turn white when in flower.
The maypole's flowers are dark pink and it produces small fruits, which are inedible.
ポタジェのリンゴの花が咲き始めています. 最初に咲くのはアルプス乙女というヒメリンゴです. 一緒に受粉木として植えているメイポールが咲きます. 少し遅れてフジが咲きだします.
入り口の鉄筋のアーチに誘引してるのはアルプス乙女です. そしてエスパリエ仕立てにアルプス乙女とフジを交互に植えています.
アルプス乙女の花は蕾の時はピンクですが、開花すると白くなります.
メイポールの花は濃いピンク色で、小さな実がつきますが食べられません.
