PRUNE FLOWERS PROMISING FRUITS (今年も期待できそうなプルーンの花)

Two prune trees in our garden are in bloom.  Last year, we harvested more than 30 fruits for the first time and enjoyed eating them.  


（庭の二本のプルーンの木が花をさかせています。昨年は初めて30個以上収穫しておいしくいただきました。）

This is a larger tree behind the brick wall.　

（これはレンガ塀の後ろにある大きいほうの木です。）

Flowers are pure white, and stamens are yellow.

（花の色は純白で、しべは黄色です。）

My wife pollinated them on a sunny day.　

（天気のよい日に家内が受粉をしました。）

How about the harvest of this year is, and how shall we eat?  It's a pleasure of August.

（ことしの収穫はどうかな？　どうやって食べようかな？　８月のお楽しみです。）
