The rainy season is going to start incredibly early this year. Heavy rains are predicted for tomorrow, and it is expected to be cloudy and rainy for the rest of the day, with the Japan Meteorological Agency likely to declare the start of the rainy season tomorrow.
今年は信じられないくらい早く雨の時期が始まりそうです. 明日は大雨の予報で、これからずっと曇りや雨の日が続く予報で、明日にも梅雨入り宣言が気象庁から出されそうです.
Tomatoes are sensitive to long rains, so I made a simple rain shelter today. I made a post out of bamboo, a roof out of protective sheeting, and a transparent plastic sheet on the front. On a good day, the transparent plastic sheet will be flipped over the roof to ensure air circulation and sunshine.
トマトは長雨に弱いので、簡単な雨よけを急遽今日作りました. 竹で支柱を作り、保護シートで屋根を作り、前面には透明のビニールシートをつけました. 天気の良い日は透明なビニールシートは屋根の上に反転させて風通しと日照を確保するようにします.
May is usually the best month of the year with beautiful weather and refreshing weather, but I am disappointed with the abnormal weather, perhaps due to global warming.
例年の五月は良い天気が続いて、爽やかで、一年でい一番良い季節ですが、地球温暖化のせいなのか、異常気象でがっかりです.
