In our garden we have honeysuckle growing in two arches. One is next to the white fence near the entrance at the top of the garden. It has started to bloom with a pink rose 'Mortimer Sackler' right next to it.
The sweet scent of honeysuckle is soothing as I walk by.
The variety 'Lonicera japonica' is one that grows commonly in the wild in Japan. The buds are slightly pinkish, white at the beginning of blooming, and then gradually turn yellow.
庭ではスイカズラを2か所のアーチで育てています. 一か所は庭の上の入り口近くの白いフェンスの横です. すぐ横にあるモーティマーサックラーと一緒に咲き始めました.
横を通るときに、スイカズラの甘い香りでふっとなごみます.
品種は日本の野山に普通に生えているものです. 蕾はわずかにピンク色がかっていて、咲き始めは白色、そのあと段々黄色になっていきます.
The other is planted at the lower entrance of the garden, up the stairs into the main garden. In the evening, the flowers glow golden in the sun.
もう一か所は、庭の下の入り口から階段を上ってメインガーデンに入るところに植えています. 夕方、太陽に照らされて花が黄金色に輝きます.
