This is my first attempt to grow beetroot in a planter. I sowed the seeds at the beginning of May, and after two months, the leaves are thicker and the roots are thicker. It seems that it is time to harvest them, so I harvested three of them. Two are red and one is yellow. One of them is growing very long.
テーブルビートを初めてプランターで育ててみました. 五月の初めに種を撒いて、2か月を過ぎて葉が茂って根元が太くなっています. そろそろ収穫時期らしいので、まず3個収穫しました. 赤いのが2つと黄色が一つです. ひとつはずいぶん長く育っています.
They were sliced and dipped in sweet vinegar.
The juice from the slices is very dark, very red and very yellow.
スライスして、甘酢につけて頂きます.
切り口からしたたる汁がすごい濃い色、真っ赤で真っ黄色でした.
